Ages 6 to 12

STEM education for students aged 6-12

36 Missions

5 Courses of 36 missions teaching block coding and JavaScript, aligned to the global CSTA (Computer Science Teachers Association) standards.

88 Hours

A 88-hour project-based learning (PBL) curriculum for applied skill development.

Builder, a Unique Game Creation Tool

After learning block coding or JavaScript (JS) languages through ACG’s courses, students are able to create their own games using Team Astro characters with the Builder tool.

LMS Tailored to the Needs of Instructors

Instructors are able to create classes and select which students to include in each. ACG Courses and missions can be assigned to each class, and are made accessible to only those students. Instructors are also able to monitor the progress of each individual student.

Project-based Curriculum for Building Practical Coding Skills

By following steps to learn and apply various coding concepts, students ultimately make a Team Astro game with the completion of each mission. For example, “variables” are applied to make a platform game, and “conditional statements” to build a game to stop a runaway train. After learning from the course missions, students may use the Builder feature to build their own games.

Patented Object-Oriented Block Coding (OOBC) Technology.

Unlike other block coding languages, ACG’s patented OOBC is unique in its sentence-like structure, familiarizing students with the grammar and syntax of text coding. This in turn helps them transition to learn JavaScript and other coding languages.
